unDOCKn

Expeditions along public borders

03.07.-10.07.24

unDOCKn is a project that explores collective processes and is being realised as part of Plateau Blo. It aims to document the private shore areas of Lake Traunsee and thus make them visible. Through the use of DIWO (Do it with others) strategies, the prevailing culture of privatisation is countered with a collaborative approach.
The starting point is the Plateau Blo Bootshaus in Toskana Park, from where expeditions are launched to as many private shore sections as possible. The specially developed vehicle is used to explore and map the private landscapes around Lake Traunsee. The aim is to visualise the proportion of private shoreline areas.
The progress and findings of the project are documented and subsequently published in a zine. This "DIWO reflection" sheds light on collective action and focuses on structure, hierarchies, communication and knowledge transfer. The map of the documented banks created in the project will also be part of the zine and is intended to inspire other interested parties.

The project team consists of: Rebecca Strasser-Kirchweger, Martin Helfert, Reinhard Jungreithmeyer, Flo Klahbacher, Laura Rumpl
Workshops: Bike Kitchen and the metal workshop of the University of Art and Design Linz
